[ubuntu] Disable auto-hide launcher on desktop

No way of finessing it as per your request that I'm aware of, but such may not be necessary. By holding down the <Super> key (otherwise known as the Windows key), the launcher will reveal itself for as long as the <Super> key is pressed. You can then click on whichever app you are after. You can also launch the first ten apps by pressing <0> ... <9>.
