Fresh install Ubuntu 16.04 LTS two days ago, Firefox is loading oddly with quick html over-draws amounting to rectangular extensions that protrude down vertically from the Bookmarks menu when I click. . . but that disappear within a second or so after which all else seems normal. But this type behavior is reminiscent of old Windows builds that were infected with malware.
The main thrust of this post is not about Firefox, however but BleachBit (as root) which is rendering a weird message, as follows:

About to execute bleachbit.
This command needs root privileges to be executed.
Using sudo...
Enter mike password at prompt.
[sudo] password for mike:

(bleachbit:3583): IBUS-WARNING **: The owner of /home/mike/.config/ibus/bus is not root!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't recall how to set up who-is-root query; seems there's a way, but I'm not much on code.
But does any one here have any idea whether this is normal behavior?
Could my system be compromised?
. . . Thinking of contacting BleachBit developer.
Thanks
