[ubuntu] Gnome Calendar Indicator: How to display a schedule?

SO, I was zipping along enjoying the weekend when I realized that my clock had stopped working. I am ruing 16.04 and was in Unity.
I did see a message flash by that said there was a crash with the date time indicator. Sure enough, when I click on the time, I can no longer see any of my appointments that are stored in the Evolution calendar.

I checked the time from the command line and the good news was that my system actually knew what time it was, it just was not showing up in the date time indicator.

I Googled a bit and it seems that there is a bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...e/+bug/1548479 I am not sure why it is marked as incomplete.)

SO since I really depend on being able to check my schedule (I hate to open Evolution just for that.) and to see if the problem was only in Unity, I logged into Gnome shell which I had installed a while back but not used much. Gnome shell's clock seems to work which is good. What is even better is that the default Gnome calendar indicator/widget/applet - whatever it is called - the thing at the top middle of the screen that shows the time and, when it is clicked, the calendar, has all of my appointments from Evolution.

The only thing I would like is to be able to see a list of upcoming events. I know this must be possible. The default seems to be to click on each individual day to find out what is going on that day. Does anyone know how I can be shown all of the events for the next week when I click on the calendar indicator/widget/applet?
