I wish I was 50 years younger!

I just love this stuff. If I could go back 50 years and know what I know now, (famous last words right), I would make a career in it.

Cryptography and and other security related things, in an open-source environment would be what I would want to try to specialize in.

How cool would it be to be a dev, working in projects like this one. For the common good:

It would be like playing all day. I read a book by Gail Sheehy, called "Passages" >30 years ago where she claimed that 10% of the working population would rather be at work than anywhere else, they loved their work so much.

Gail said a goal of everyone should be to move forward in career paths towards the fortunate ones that were in the 10%. Usually taking risks and making sacrifices to move forward. Unfortunately obviously, I didn't quite make it but, did try and have made career changes. My last plaed one included buying this computer to go back to school but, life "through a curve ball" that ended that. But, I found the world of Open-Source and for that I am grateful however limited I am now.

I'm feeling particularly grateful tonight, and felt like sharing and offering a humble, Thank You!
