Problem with Shotwell in Ubuntu

Hi, I'm very new to Ubuntu, having used it (16.04) for about a week. I hope this is the right forum for asking this question.
I'm trying to edit some photos using Shotwell 0.22.0,povded as part of the Ubuntu installation. The Shotwell help file tells me I should use the Adjust button to change colour balance etc, however the Adjust button doesn't exist on my program. I can see where it should be on the screenshot in the help file, but its just not there when i try to use the progam. Can anyone help me with this problem?
