[ubuntu] ubuntu the login keyring did not get unlocked

I started getting "the login keyring did not get unlocked" when I told my wired network coection (eth0) to use my vpn (usenetserver) when . The wired coection is set to automatically coect to the vpn whenever its ruing. All users may use coection is also checked. I was thinking that the vpn thing may have caused the problem. So, every moing, after tuing on my machine and when everything is up I noticed that my network was not coected. To coect all I have to do is click on the wired coection and I then get the "login keyring did not get unlocked". After I login the wired coection AND the vpn come right up.

I think I may have set something up wrong as this just started happening when I setup the vpn (which works just fine once up) I have read any number of posts about the login keying thing but nothing like this.
