How to set "xset led 3" command during the login in 16.04?
I am able to tu on the led light for my keyboard using "xset led 3" command after the login is complete through "Setting" -> "Session and Startup". However, it won't work during the login.

ubuntu 13.10 and older versions can be installed on my laptop successfully and everything is OK.But 14.04 or later caot.The problem is that my laptop suspend its all work to RAM even from the process of installing per 30 seconds (approximate) and it goes on installing after I pressed the power button.The same problem is there after the installed OS starts.
I have tried other OS such as fedora、debian and centos .The same situation comes there.

I have done a lot of searching and have not found a way around this. There is no sddm folder and editing sddm.conf and removing all of the auto login entries does not help. Trying other login managers does not seem to help either. I tried Lightdm and it just goes blank, slim loads but I caot login to my account with it. I had similar issues with 15.10 as well... Go ahead and blast me for having a really old Computer (Dell). It still works great. Never had a problem with it. Lots of the Dell P4's came with the pre-packaged i915 or a variant thereof. Lubuntu 14.04 works great, but only for another year. I have tried the LXLE OS and did not like it at all.

So If the i915 isn't going to work with 16.04 and/or the updated Keel hasn't been fixed to accommodate the i915, then I give up with Linux.
