[ubuntu] Can one use Apple's iCloud software in Ubuntu?

I am sure this is not possible but is there a way to use iCloud with Ubuntu?

I have taken thousands of photos with my iPhone and would like to download them en mass rather than logging into iCloud and downloading one at a time which is cumbersome.

With Windows and Mac, there is software to download (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204283) but no such option exists for Linux.

I did try to use a Windows VM in Ubuntu but the iCloud software refused to load. I also tried Wine which failed as it demand something called the "Media Feature Pack" which is incompatible with Wine.

Does anyone please have any other suggestions? Thanks.
