[ubuntu] Text problem

Hi all

This is probably the wrong place to ask this, but I'd like some help.
I have several text files that show up in this gobblely goop and I'd like to unscramble them. They are created in the Libre Office Writer program.

I woulld like some help on how to unscramble files like this.
