I have a thread in the Mobile Technology section where I asked for input on what people would like to see in a Linux-powered tablet. I had a few good responses, then it slacked off quickly.
I checked the thread this moing and made a comment about the forum being kind of a dead end for ideas at present. It was an inocuous comment. Looking at it now, I should have used "sub-forum" but I didn't think about it at the time.
A short time later, a "super mod" name QIII posted this, which I initially responded to in a maer that probably wasn't the best, but I was angry that he would make such a condescending, arrogant remark:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2320306
I can maybe understand why my comment was "jailed", though I don't entirely agree with it.
But when I tried to post this a bit later as a simple request for QIII to not post again if he wasn't going to offer a constructive comment:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2320321
It was also "jailed". I posted that I should have used "sub-forum" instead of "forum", admitting my error.
I would like to know why a "super mod" can post a condescending, dismissive remark, intentionally denigrating my comment, yet when I ask that he either contribute to the relevant conversation or please just leave the thread alone from further snide Idea, I am punished for it?
I am simply trying to have a thread for people to offer their ideas for open discussion, not pick a fight.
