Can not coect to wireless on ubuntu 12

Which version 12 are you ruing?

12.04 is supported for another year but 12.10 lost support a long time ago and will be very risky to keep using now with no security updates for several years, so I hope it is 12.04.

In view of your wifi adapter, have you looked at the thread at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2214110 and tried all it suggests.

However, none of that will work if you are using 12.10 as the repos will now be unavailable, so you will need to upgrade to a supported version, currently 14.04 or 15.10, though you could try 16.04, which even though still a beta release, has been working well for me, and will be fully released in only 10 days.
