Hi there!

My system is setup as a dual boot of Windows 8 (laptop came with this) and Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit (installed with a LiveUSB, with different partitions for /boot, /home, / and swap). I received a waing that the /boot partition was getting filled near its limits, and I decided that it needed cleaning. Right now, I caot access Ubuntu or Windows through GRUB anymore.

What did I do?
I tried to clean up my /boot partition by uninstalling unused Linux keel packages from my Ubuntu 14.04 install:

Code:

sudo apt-get remove linux-image-3.19.0-37-generic linux-image-3.19.0-39-generic linux-image-3.19.0-4* linux-image-3.19.0-51-generic linux-image-extra-3.19.0-3* linux-image-extra-3.19.0-4* linux-image-extra-3.19.0-51-generic
sudo update-grub
After a reboot, the Ubuntu entries in GRUB vanished. Under Windows 8 I tried to use EasyBCD to fix this problem, but now I also caot get into Windows anymore.

I tried using Boot Repair's recommended repair on a LiveUSB of Ubuntu 14.04, but that kept ruing for over 8 hours and got stuck in the same phase. I quit Boot Repair and let it make a Boot Info summary. This is available at http://paste.ubuntu.com/15783962/

Can anyone help me get my system to work again?

Thanks in advance!
