Does Ubuntu have a ctrl-alt-del equivalent?

Ctrl+Alt+F1(F2,F3,F4 etc.)

This will open a shell, in which you can login as your account and type

kilall firefox

Then press Ctrl+Alt+F6 to go back to your desktop.

Note: on some distributions or desktop environments Ctrl+Alt+F1 is used to go back to the desktop, and Ctrl+Alt+F2(F3,F4,F5 etc.) are shells.
