15.10 install with dual win10 and grub fail

I have a ASUS Zenbook ux305ua and would like to dual boot. I have tued off fast boot and secure boot. With a usb jumpdrive I can run 15.10 live, coect to net, seems to work okay. When I try to install, choosing install besides windows, it continues until the point it installs grub2, it fails with a fatal error. When I reboot windows, it has created the partitions to use for linux and swap, but no other evidence that anything has happened. I have tried this a few times. I can go back in windows disk management and retu the partitions to the window partitition. This is my first dealing with uefi boot. What to try next?
