Ubuntu12.04 has no response when execute Omap5 (./bin) installer through terminal

HI all,

I would like to set up Omap5 glsdk software developers and I followed the steps (step 1) in

I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 in Virtual box and downloaded the GLSDK installer. But after I typed

chmod +x ti-glsdk_omap5-uevm_6_04_00_02_linux-installer.bin

./ti-glsdk_omap5-uevm_6_04_00_02_linux-installer.bin

in the terminal, nothing shows up...No GUI...No error reported..

However, when I tried on my Ubuntu 14.04 (even though it doesn't support Omap5), it shows the GUI saying that Ubuntu 14.04 doesn't support the device, which makes sense to me...

Anyone knows that is this the problem of my ubuntu 12.04 in Virtual box or the problem of steps provided in the tutorial? How can I execute this ./bin file?
