[ubuntu] Please reccomend an alternative HP printer to the Deskjet 2540.

I have a HP Deskjet 2540 which is dying. The wifi no longer works and it won't print in color.

It worked with Ubuntu but was temperamental. I spent too long installing and reinstalling drivers.

Can someone suggest another printer which is assured to work with Ubuntu. I am currently using 12.04 LTS.

I would prefer another HP since I have a couple of unused cartridges. They apparently work with Deskjet 2542 and 2544 for example.

However, I care more about the long term viability of the printer. All suggestions - HP and not - are gratefully received. It needs to be wireless.
