Hi folks.
I'd very much appreciate some help. My problem is not Ubuntu related, but I'm hoping this forum is a good place to find some answers ... so here goes.
Problem
I've been using Eclipse for C++/Python/Django projects I've been working on. The Eclipse IDE is extensible, with lots of plugins to support C++, Python, Django amongst other things, which is good, but I would like to try something different. I've installed and configured QtCreator, converted to CMake C++ projects, and rebuilt. It all works, and it feels so much faster and lightweight. I'm happy. As far as I can tell QtCreator isn't a good fit for a Django project, so I am considering the Eric IDE to use alongside. I have installed Eric6 and the Django Project plugin, but am at a loss as how best to proceed.
Question
Assuming no knowledge of the Eric IDE, is there a simple example somewhere of how to get a Django project up and ruing in Eric6? Or failing that can somebody just give me a quick run down of what I'd have to do ... ?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Aaron
