Download manager for slow coections

For the last three days, I have been trying to download Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition off of GoG.com. My problem is that I am deployed and the inteet they have out here is very slow and unreliable. It will take approx 9 hours to download the 2.1 GB game file. This wouldn't be so bad, except that many times I come home from duty, the download had failed and would not resume. Every time this happens, I am back to square one, which I am now.

Is there a good download manager for Ubuntu for slow coections. The only thing I could find are download accelerators, which I don't want. I basically want it to automatically retry after download failure and not lose the DL entirely if it fails.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I guess I should mention that I have both Firefox and Chrome available on my computer, in case the solution is an extension. I prefer Firefox.
