Ralink usb no longer detected after kernel upgrade

System did its normal upgrade of headers and image, and now my wireless doesn't show up.

I installed the driver for my adapter and got it to work for my Ralink MY7601 usb adapter using hte following commands:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:thopiekar/mt7601
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mt7601-sta-dkms
And it immediately detected it and worked. And the first time the keel upgraded, it worked fine.

As you can see, it is no longer detected as a usb device. I checked to see if the driver was still installed and got this output:

mt7601-sta-dkms is already the newest version.
sudo modprobe mt7601-sta outputs this though:

It was my understanding that by using the PPA i wouldn't have to compile the driver every time the keel upgraded, which incidentally it has done three times in the last eight hours.

I am using the 3.16 keel, and Ciamon 2.8 on Ubuntu 14.04.4
