Greetings,I recently built my first 16.04 server. It has 2 1TB drives in a RAID 1 for /, Boot, Swap, and Primary Data Storage.The boot partitions on both drives is marked as bootable.It has another RAID 1 of 1TB drives for archive data storage.Discoecting any one drive prevents successful boot and drops to initramfs.Ruing dpkg-reconfigure mdadm does not ask about boot degraded. Hello, everyone.I know what you're thinking, and it's not that I was trying to install or play anything in DOSBox through Wine. I bought a game on GOG and tried to install it through PlayOnLinux so I can copy the files and play them in the native DOSBox. To be more specific, the game is Redguard, from Bethesda.So the issue I have is that I installed the game, and upon launching it (to see why this game had DOSBox settings and whatnot, but a Windows launcher) DOSBox (in Wine) froze up, and upon force-closing it my screen resolution was screwed up. I'm a graphics designer and artist and I know jack about Gimp. I'm leaing, but in the mean time I really need access to Photoshop CC. I'd rather not go back to Windows if I can help it.I have it installed via PlayLinux, but there are no fonts on anything except the menu's. I also tried installing it with no fonts (a suggestion from another post), and it did not help.I'm plaing on converting to linux entirely, but this is my one issue that for years has stopped me. I have already looked into the system preferences and it dosen't list the native resolution of 1280x1024 that my second monitor has. I have a fresh machine with a fresh install of Ubuntu Gnome.I'm ruing a AMD FirePro w4100.The only drivers available are compatible with xorg 1.10 so I can't use them I don't think.The problem is that all my hardware is compatible with 2560x1440, but the max resolution I can get is 1920x1200.I've attempted to cvt the resolution, add it through xrandr, and assign it to the output.The option appears in Gnome, but when I select it the monitor goes black and loses signal.I've tried it in different ranges of frequency but can't get it to work.I'm not sure where to go from here, any help is appreciated. I have recently been having issues with my Samba shares and thought it best to just reinstall the whole program, since it was working well from the time it was first installed. I had issues installing with apt-get, so I resorted to installing from source and that is the method I prefer.
