I have a 64BIT OpenSuSE server I'm looking to migrate over to Ubuntu.Dell 7500 Workstation with Intel E5 Xeon processor64GB of RAM and 20TB of dataMySQL database to migrate over with it.First off before going any further, I noticed the only architecture for 64bit is AMD 64, so does this mean having a Dell server based on Intel, I'm dead in the water as is? If so I can just go towards SME Server, but I would rather try Ubuntu as it's a bit unique on it's own/to try something different.Or is there something unique about the 32bit version that will allow it to use the full 64GB of RAM? Hi everyone,I recently followed an online video guide here to get a local share with my windows guest up and ruing. I succeeded after some tinkering with permissions, but then all of a sudden it just stopped working. Now my windows 8 guest caot even see my host through the inbuilt Network folder. As the title says my etheet keeps discoecting roughly 5 mins after plugging in the etheet cable. If I plug it out and back in again it works perfectly for another 5 mins. I have a USB to LAN coection when I use that I have no coections whatsoever, it only happens when I plug the etheet cable into the on board etheet port on my laptop. The coection isn't loose and the wire isn't damaged in any way. Any ideas what's causing this? So I consider myself if not an uber computer geek at least a "power user", and tried to keep my dual boot setup of Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04 for as long as I could. Qemu 2.5 has a bug that prevents a Windows guest from loading the TPM driver, this is patched from qemu 2.6 onwards so I've got qemu 2.6.1 in my build chain and am ruing the guest on the cmd line. I've installed Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04 (also tried Xubuntu 16.04/14.04) on my brand new laptop i5 6200u/8gb/gt940m/240gb. I have problem with ubuntu performance, which doesn't occur on windows, where everything i've tried works just fine.
