Hi All. I've recently upgraded to 16.04 and have since been having the above problem. Although, I had similar, intermittent problems with the older version of Ubuntu (14.x). When coecting to my WiFi network, I enter a correct password, the system tries to coect and then asks me for the password again. Obviously, each time I am inputting the correct password. No problem coecting to the router with other devices such as Android phones. I am unable to access the config of the router - locked down by the service provider, so I am unable to change any of the encryption settings that some previous threads have suggested. Network Manager shows that the coection uses WPA & WPA2 Personal security...

Hello all! I am new to this and am hoping to get some help if possible. I have downloaded the 32 bit version of Ubuntu 15.04 and have installed it on my Dell PowerEdge 2650. The system is set up with 4 hard drives, one as the boot drive and the other 4 as RAID. The install seems to go perfectly, but once the system requires reboot, the screen always goes blank and my monitor says "Input Not Supported". I have a headless home server (Ubuntu 16.04.1) which I monitor from my desktop with gkrellm. I guess I am looking for some help in narrowing down a path to take so I can remote into my Ubuntu box from my Windows box.One person told me to get PuTTY and that was all they said. I have a vintage HP laptop (32b) that was ruing 14.04.5 OK. I upgraded to 16.04.1 and the installation finished OK, however all GUIs on the system show the password box grayed out when I have to elevate to administrator priviledges. However if I open a terminal I have no problem sudo'ing, e.g. sudo xxxx.... Hey all,I have a huge long complicated password to login, so my home folder encryption is a bit stronger. However, this then means using sudo is a huge pain. I'd like to use a slightly easier sudo password... something a malicious script or snooping user couldn't crack without effort, but also something easier on my fingers when I issue many sudos in many terminal windows.
