Greetings!I managed to install ubuntu (16.04) on my working PC, after couple hours of surfing the web my inteet connection lost. So i decided to do this Code: sudo dhclient -r sudo dhclient After these commands Gods of the inteet blessed me again(Got google working again), and i tried to connect to previous webpages > but failed, tried to open different ubuntu communities > failed,( only main (this one) worked well) almost 80% of the web pages won't open to me from THAT moment, and also can't install ANY program VIA terminal Code: 0% [Connecting to ua.archive.ubuntu.com (82.144.192.7)] after doing Code: dhclient -r i'm getting messages "RTNETLINK FILE EXISTS" (maybe this is the evil roots i looking for? how to fix this ?)Tried to configure INET connection as static > same.Tried to reboot pc networking > same.Tried to deny all IPV6 > same.Tried to use usb-wifi stick > same.PC located at the office, i've a privileged IP (no limits, or social network bloc, ...ادامه مطلب

I am trying to dual boot ubuntu 14 and windows 10 on my dell xps 9350. They have both been installed and the windows side boots fine. However when I attempt to boot into ubuntu I get the following errorError parsing pcc from pcct subspacesata3.0: exception Emask 0.0I made sure fast boot is off on the windows side and secure boot is off. I have already tried reinstalling ubuntu many times but I always get this error when I first boot into it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hi all,I leat PHP 5.6 using Windows 10 & WAMPServer (64 bit) and recently moved to Ubuntu Linux. I am trying to setup my Linux machine to continue leaing PHP. I am trying to figure out how to get a real certificate working for my owncloud server as it seems I cannot use the mobile apps with the self-signed certificates. This is not my first try getting a real certificate working for my domain, but there is something I cant seem to understand.Below I have tried to explain exactly what I did in my last try I hopes that someone will read it and see what I am doing wrong. Dear all,I am not very Linux or computer savvy in general, and I have shunned these forums for a long time for this reason. But I’m up against a strange situation, and I haven’t seen anyone online who’s had this happen to them. Hello everyone!I'm pretty new to Linux, and need help with installing a driver. Currently, my computer has an inteal WiFi adapter that can only connect to 2.4 GHz, so I bought one of those small WiFi adapters that you plug into your USB (here's the link to it: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Netw.../dp/B00W5UHQ8M). This one let's me connect to 5.0 GHz which would GREATLY increase my WiFi speed from about 10 Mbps to around 150 Mbps. It works great on my Windows installation (I have Linux dual-booted). When I installed the driver on Windows I noticed an option for Linux, so I'm pretty sure I could get this to work. On the CD that came with it I found two files that might have the drivers in it; one is a tar.bz2 and one is a .zip. The problem is, I can't seem to figure it out how to actually get it to install. Hi everyone,I recently followed an online video guide here to get a local share with my windows guest up and running. I succeeded after some tinkering with permissions, but then all of a sudden it just stopped working. Now my windows 8 guest cannot even see my host through the inbuilt Network folder. In my attempt to make a my Mac Mini 1,1 dual boot OSX 10.5 and Ubuntu 14.04, I have set things up incorrectly pertaining to sharing drive space between these OS's. And I don't know how to fix it.My goal is to have the single hard drive divided into partitions for each OS, and another one for files that can be accessed from either OS.I encountered the user ID mismatch problem and tried to fix it by assigning the Ubuntu user ID to 501, to match that of the OSX 10.5 user ID. I did so by trying to follow the instructions I found on this web page: http://lifehacker.com/5702815/the-co...rating-systemsThat procedure had me create a “tempuser” account in Ubuntu. Then us some chown commands on the home directory of Ubuntu. I guess that worked. But of course, I also wanted to do the chown command on my shared files partition. I've decided to start a new thread on this, rather than keep adding to me 14.04 to 15.10 thread.I have upgraded to 16.04.1I am finding a few issues. So far: Wireless connection is unstable. I'm using wired for now. Monitor switches off after being left idle, and the only way to wake it is reboot. I've now tued off the sleep mode, but that's not ideal either. Ubuntu software centre is still in my menu, but won't load.
