Greetings!I managed to install ubuntu (16.04) on my working PC, after couple hours of surfing the web my inteet connection lost. So i decided to do this Code: sudo dhclient -r sudo dhclient After these commands Gods of the inteet blessed me again(Got google working again), and i tried to connect to previous webpages > but failed, tried to open different ubuntu communities > failed,( only main (this one) worked well) almost 80% of the web pages won't open to me from THAT moment, and also can't install ANY program VIA terminal Code: 0% [Connecting to ua.archive.ubuntu.com (82.144.192.7)] after doing Code: dhclient -r i'm getting messages "RTNETLINK FILE EXISTS" (maybe this is the evil roots i looking for? how to fix this ?)Tried to configure INET connection as static > same.Tried to reboot pc networking > same.Tried to deny all IPV6 > same.Tried to use usb-wifi stick > same.PC located at the office, i've a privileged IP (no limits, or social network bloc, ...ادامه مطلب

Friends,I'm new to ubuntu and my ubuntu wireless is very unstable. About 10% of the whole time connection is successful, while the other majority isn't. Hello everyone!I'm pretty new to Linux, and need help with installing a driver. Currently, my computer has an inteal WiFi adapter that can only connect to 2.4 GHz, so I bought one of those small WiFi adapters that you plug into your USB (here's the link to it: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Netw.../dp/B00W5UHQ8M). This one let's me connect to 5.0 GHz which would GREATLY increase my WiFi speed from about 10 Mbps to around 150 Mbps. It works great on my Windows installation (I have Linux dual-booted). When I installed the driver on Windows I noticed an option for Linux, so I'm pretty sure I could get this to work. On the CD that came with it I found two files that might have the drivers in it; one is a tar.bz2 and one is a .zip. The problem is, I can't seem to figure it out how to actually get it to install. I installed only ubuntu 14.04 system on my computer (4T disk). Problems with "Ralink RT3290LE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter" and ubuntu 16.04:1- If the wifi card is tued on when you order shutdown of the system (from terminal, shutdown button, etc.), the result is always a restart. To shutdown the laptop, one must disable previously the wifi card.2- Low sensitivity to wifi signal, sometimes losing connection intermittently. In my case, at 3 meters from the router, without obstacles in between, signal strength ranges from only 51 to 63%. Speed tests show really lower speed, specially for download (I compared this card with an usb wifi dongle)3- Sometimes the wifi card loses the connection and remains deactivated, no matter what you do; if you simply restart the system, it is impossible to tu it on; by contrast, if you make a shutdown instead of a restart, the wifi card works again.I'm experiencing all of these issues with a HP Envy m6-1202ss and ubuntu 16.04. As the title says my etheet keeps disconnecting roughly 5 mins after plugging in the etheet cable. If I plug it out and back in again it works perfectly for another 5 mins. I have a USB to LAN connection when I use that I have no connections whatsoever, it only happens when I plug the etheet cable into the on board etheet port on my laptop. The connection isn't loose and the wire isn't damaged in any way. Any ideas what's causing this? Hello allI have just started work in an organisation which uses an intranet accessed by wifi. Staff provide their own laptops and mine uses lubuntu.I can access most things within the system but there is an smb:// shared network which I cannot connect to. I have tried various things (ie, posting the smb address in file manager and in nautilus, using the Connect to Server option within file manager) and have had no luck. Most of these options say that the connection has been rejected, sometimes that the address was not found.The IT dept have had a look but aren't familiar with lubuntu. Can anyone suggest what I could try? Is it possible that the system here is rejecting my connection because it doesn't recognise the OS? Is it worth persisting or should I just give up and accept I'm not going to be able to access it from here? Any ideas much appreciated. Hello everybody, (I'm new in ubuntuforums, sorry for any mistakes)I've installed Ubuntu Gnome, but keep running into difficulties conceing my Wi-Fi.After I start up my laptop, the Wi-Fi is tued off. I can tu my Wi-Fi on by using 'Select Network' or 'Wi-Fi Settings', but every time the Wi-Fi is almost directly tued off (within one or three seconds). On one occasion I could briefly see my router, before the Wi-Fi was tued off once again. Hello Everyone,I had just installed edubuntu 14.04 on my lappy(hp pavilion g6 2226 tu). The matter is that whenever i connect to my wifi router, it works for 4-5 seconds and then it stops working. I mean to say Ubuntu is showing connected with wifi but when i checked on router, it was not showing there , also,obviously, i cannot access the inteet. .afThere is one more issue. Whenever i start lappy after shutting down, it start blinking rapidly. After this when i power t off and restart, it works correctly. i know it's not hardware issue as i tried it on my lappy before i installed it. Please helpP.S: I am new to ubuntu.
