Hello everyone!I'm pretty new to Linux, and need help with installing a driver. Currently, my computer has an inteal WiFi adapter that can only coect to 2.4 GHz, so I bought one of those small WiFi adapters that you plug into your USB (here's the link to it: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Netw.../dp/B00W5UHQ8M). Hi All,since there are media providers blocking data center IPs am no longer able to enjoy some services. I was a little bit upset, but then this idea hit me:I am still an owner of a VPS which I used as a VPN-Server/Gateway using PPTP. The idea is to set up Raspberry Pi which will be placed in a friends house and act like a gateway. Hello allI have just started work in an organisation which uses an intranet accessed by wifi. Staff provide their own laptops and mine uses lubuntu.I can access most things within the system but there is an smb:// shared network which I caot coect to. I have tried various things (ie, posting the smb address in file manager and in nautilus, using the Coect to Server option within file manager) and have had no luck. Most of these options say that the coection has been rejected, sometimes that the address was not found.The IT dept have had a look but aren't familiar with lubuntu. So I've been hosting my Plex Media Server and 2 Mumble Servers off my Main Windows 10 Gaming rig for a while now. I just recently built a new machine and threw Ubuntu 14 on it.All was working fine.. I got mumble working great on it..plex was working fine. I ****ed up some settings with Phpmumbleadmin and for some reason DHCP wasn't picking up an IP address from the Router on the ubuntu machine only. Wifi was fine, and Desktop was fine.I decided i probably screwed up apache or myphpadmin or something and decided to just reinstall Ubuntu.Woohoo it was working again. Installed Plex, started copying files over from my NAS for the Plex files/database, walked away and came back to the same issue!!...

Since making a clean install of 16.04.1 just over a week ago, I've had Thunar 1.6.10 (which came with the UbuntuStudio distro) fall over very frequently when I rename a file.Sometimes it happens on the first file I rename, sometimes on the 3rd or even higher. Once it has fallen over, it happens more frequently during the session. By fall-over, I mean Thunar just vanishes from the screen and has to be restarted. The rename operation was completed each time and no data is lost (so far) so it is just aoying rather than worrying.I never had this happen in UStudio 14.04 during the two years or so that I was using it. Hello all,please help:last night I was browsing away not doing anything out of the ordinary and suddenly the computer locked up.It has done it before, but generally when I had a lot of tabs open plus maybe a few other things, spreadsheets, VLC etc. I was thinking it's a memory issue.But last night when it locked that wasn't the case. I recently purchased an ASUS USB-N13 Wi-fi adapter for my desktop ruing Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty 64x. I waa switch over to Ubuntu as it would serve my (Ancient) Hardware well, the only problem is I like playing games and I have an AMD GPU. I really would like the speed boost from Linux, but it'd mean leaving all of my games behind, simply because they don't support linux, or because the drivers are really bad. I would like to do GPU pass through, but it seems like too much hassle to me (And likely on't work, no iGPU on processor, have to use an 8600GT that HAS to go below my 7970). I used lxd to create a container environment, where I bridged my network.Everything is ruing smoothly.Now I want to create different containers, which belong to 3 projects.I would like to separate these projects, they should be ruing in 3 different networks, two containers in every subnet should have a loadbalancer and a jumhost, they should have two network interfaces, one facing to the projects inteal network, one facing the default network, that is the one my serveode is using.How can this be archieved?
