Hello everyone!I'm pretty new to Linux, and need help with installing a driver. Currently, my computer has an inteal WiFi adapter that can only coect to 2.4 GHz, so I bought one of those small WiFi adapters that you plug into your USB (here's the link to it: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Netw.../dp/B00W5UHQ8M). Hello allI have just started work in an organisation which uses an intranet accessed by wifi. Staff provide their own laptops and mine uses lubuntu.I can access most things within the system but there is an smb:// shared network which I caot coect to. I have tried various things (ie, posting the smb address in file manager and in nautilus, using the Coect to Server option within file manager) and have had no luck. Most of these options say that the coection has been rejected, sometimes that the address was not found.The IT dept have had a look but aren't familiar with lubuntu. So I've been hosting my Plex Media Server and 2 Mumble Servers off my Main Windows 10 Gaming rig for a while now. I just recently built a new machine and threw Ubuntu 14 on it.All was working fine.. I got mumble working great on it..plex was working fine. I ****ed up some settings with Phpmumbleadmin and for some reason DHCP wasn't picking up an IP address from the Router on the ubuntu machine only. Wifi was fine, and Desktop was fine.I decided i probably screwed up apache or myphpadmin or something and decided to just reinstall Ubuntu.Woohoo it was working again. Installed Plex, started copying files over from my NAS for the Plex files/database, walked away and came back to the same issue!!...

Hi,I have a server with 16.04 up and ruing. I used lxd to create a container environment, where I bridged my network.Everything is ruing smoothly.Now I want to create different containers, which belong to 3 projects.I would like to separate these projects, they should be ruing in 3 different networks, two containers in every subnet should have a loadbalancer and a jumhost, they should have two network interfaces, one facing to the projects inteal network, one facing the default network, that is the one my serveode is using.How can this be archieved? Hey all,I have a huge long complicated password to login, so my home folder encryption is a bit stronger. However, this then means using sudo is a huge pain. I'd like to use a slightly easier sudo password... something a malicious script or snooping user couldn't crack without effort, but also something easier on my fingers when I issue many sudos in many terminal windows.
