I use Ubuntu 16.04 (Unity) on my Dell Inspiron-20-Model-3043 (touch screen).My problem is that the lock screen (ctrl + alt + L) changed to the old style like the one in Ubuntu 10.10, and I don't know why exactly, I don't remember have done anything in particular.maybe it changed after the installation of Unity 8 mir but I didn't notice it until 3 days later so I'm not sure. I've been using 14.04, and just used the upgrade command.Things happened, it asked me if I wanted to keep my grub config file or use the new one.I chose to use the new one. It sat for a while, then rebooted.On reboot, it brings up a GNU GRUB version 2.02 beta2-9ubuntu1.12 label at the top, with a grub prompt.Nothing works now.Does anybody know how to get past this??? As the title says my etheet keeps discoecting roughly 5 mins after plugging in the etheet cable. If I plug it out and back in again it works perfectly for another 5 mins. I have a USB to LAN coection when I use that I have no coections whatsoever, it only happens when I plug the etheet cable into the on board etheet port on my laptop. The coection isn't loose and the wire isn't damaged in any way. Any ideas what's causing this? I don't know if this is a Flashback issue or not, but I have this issue on all my Yakkety boxes, which have Flashback installed.When doing an update and clicking show details, UM will give you one line of download information and then 10-15 lines of terminal progress, unless you clicked show details after it downloaded all the files and were already installing them, you only get one line of terminal output.
