I think I know where I went wrong, I just can't find anything on how to fix it. I installed Ubuntu alongside my Windows 7 install which have incompatible formats if I recall correctly. When I boot my computer it hangs on the BIOS for much longer than normal, with my caps lock and num lock keys constantly blinking. Once it does that for a minute or so, it goes to a black screen and flashes a message (it includes the words environment batch (or block)). I am trying to dual boot ubuntu 14 and windows 10 on my dell xps 9350. They have both been installed and the windows side boots fine. I am attempting to install a dependency for the ffmpeg packageThe dependency is libgnutls30 (version 3.5.3.2)The error is: Breaks existing package 'libgnutls-openssl27' dependency libgnutls30 (=3.4.10-4ubuntu1.1)Do I force install this specific dependency? So I have an HP Mini netbook that was previously used as my main laptop. I have since upgraded to a better system, but my need for it retued as my old server, a Sony VAIO laptop, experienced a hard drive failure. It was old anyways so I decided to use the netbook instead. It didn't have a CD drive so I had to put the ISO for Unbuntu Server (32-Bit) on a flash drive. The installation succeeded, but when it came time to restart to boot for the first time, the laptop would get to the HP splash screen but would hang at this screen. Keyboard input didn't help either. Hi everyone,I recently followed an online video guide here to get a local share with my windows guest up and ruing. I succeeded after some tinkering with permissions, but then all of a sudden it just stopped working. Now my windows 8 guest caot even see my host through the inbuilt Network folder. Hi!First off, let me say that I've searched in the forums (and the inteet) for this issue and had no luck solving it. Also, I have tried some other distros besides the one I have on the machine right now (Xubuntu 16.04) and it's all the same.The issue itself is that after I install the distro, or run the "try without installing" option, wifi stops working. I have a host ruing ubuntu 16.04. and lxc guest (archlinux). Both a ruing nvidia 367.35.When Upgrading to nvidia 370.23 (host and guest) I lost graphics in the container. I had Mythbuntu 14.04 ruing on this machine, but it was getting flaky: some recordings OK, some zero-length, some excessively large and presumably corrupt that would crash the frontend when I tried to play them. I'd applied the various updates that were offered, but they did not cure the problem. Then a day or two ago I was offered the update to 16.04, but that was a disaster, so I saved my recordings to an exteal drive and ran mythconverg_backup.pl and copied the resulting files to the exteal drive as well.
