Hi all,I'm getting an instant black screen and no sign of further life immediately after Grub.I installed Ubuntu Server 14.04 onto a Samsung 840 SSD with LVM and everything seemed to be fine. I set up my 4 2tb drives as a mdadm RAID array with LVM on top. I installed Kodi. I left the machine on for a few days while the RAID was set up and then copied my files on to it. Everything seemed fine.Then I try to reboot it. I get to the Grub screen. I choose "Ubuntu". Instant black screen with no further response. The automatic updates to Samba that were provided on 18 April 2016 apparently clobber some of the functionality of gvfs. In particular, the functionality reverts to one in which when trying to coect to a particular CIFS/SMB share using gvfs (no matter how it is done), the resulting behavior is one that asks for the password, but doesn't act on it correctly, then repeatedly asks again for the password. I found this because I use gigolo to automatically log in to a CIFS/SMB share at login time and, not only did it not log in correctly, but repeatedly asked for my password again. Hello everybody,Since I installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my new HP 250 g4 laptop I've been experiencing random wi-fi signal dropouts (pages seem to load forever even though the wifi icon shows that I'm coected). I'm also frequently asked for wi-fi password.The same goes for Linux Mint 17.02 which is installed as a second OS on the same laptop.What's interesting, my wife has got Ubuntu 14.04 installed on her netbook (Samsung N150 Plus) and it runs flawlessly. I just installed Lubuntu 14.04 two days ago. The problem I have is that my my wifi does not work properly. It works for some minutes but after a while it begins being slow until the coection is lost.
