[ubuntu] Ubuntu 15.10 on Lenovo s440 > Network issues

Hey,

I am experiencing issues with my network coectivity on my Lenovo S440.

Both Wifi and Etheet coections drop after 1 or 2 minutes of operation. I can no longer access the inteet, but I can access the local network.
A restart is required to, again have 1 or 2 minutes of inteet. And then it drops.

As I was unable to solve it I just reinstalled the laptop, but also on a fresh installation I have this problem.
Could it be that the hardware is not fully supported?

Also to note: there are several other machines on the network; Raspberry Pi's, Macs, iPads, and Smartphones; none of them have this issue.
