I have a 64BIT OpenSuSE server I'm looking to migrate over to Ubuntu.Dell 7500 Workstation with Intel E5 Xeon processor64GB of RAM and 20TB of dataMySQL database to migrate over with it.First off before going any further, I noticed the only architecture for 64bit is AMD 64, so does this mean having a Dell server based on Intel, I'm dead in the water as is? If so I can just go towards SME Server, but I would rather try Ubuntu as it's a bit unique on it's own/to try something different.Or is there something unique about the 32bit version that will allow it to use the full 64GB of RAM? I am at my wits end trying to set up RAID 1 for my OS devices. I feel like I have tried everything but I always get some sort of failure back. Here's what I have done so far that has gotten me the furthest:Both devices:2GB /boot (yes it's big but I really don't care)42GB /12GB swapThat is done on both devices (side note: setting the boot flag never works, it always remains in the off position)Next, I go to configure software RAID and I set RAID 1, 2 disks, 0 spares and choose the partitions accordingly. So I consider myself if not an uber computer geek at least a "power user", and tried to keep my dual boot setup of Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04 for as long as I could. I need Windows currently because of some Windows-only software I need for my classes (hopefully won't need these ever again after I graduate). Installed Ubuntu last night and have spent the last 10 hours today trying to get my old adapter working, alas I have given up. Does anybody know of a adapter that will just install and work without having to fiddle with anything? Hi All. I've recently upgraded to 16.04 and have since been having the above problem. Although, I had similar, intermittent problems with the older version of Ubuntu (14.x). When coecting to my WiFi network, I enter a correct password, the system tries to coect and then asks me for the password again. Obviously, each time I am inputting the correct password. No problem coecting to the router with other devices such as Android phones. I am unable to access the config of the router - locked down by the service provider, so I am unable to change any of the encryption settings that some previous threads have suggested. Network Manager shows that the coection uses WPA & WPA2 Personal security...

I just noticed that my Ubuntu Mate 16.04 distro has some issues with coection, i can coect to my house WiFi without any problem at all, however when i use my school's WiFi, everything worked fine the first day but suddenly both access points seem to be unreachable, i say this because when i try to coect to any of them either it keeps asking for the WiFi password or it simply doesn't coect, is there any way to fix this? i've tried to forget both networks and no better results and my phone can coect to School WiFi without problems too, my only option here is to share coection via Usb , im using private drivers for a Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n [14e4:4365] (rev 01) WiFi card, but ...
