In my attempt to make a my Mac Mini 1,1 dual boot OSX 10.5 and Ubuntu 14.04, I have set things up incorrectly pertaining to sharing drive space between these OS's. Hello Everyone,I had just installed edubuntu 14.04 on my lappy(hp pavilion g6 2226 tu). The matter is that whenever i coect to my wifi router, it works for 4-5 seconds and then it stops working. I mean to say Ubuntu is showing coected with wifi but when i checked on router, it was not showing there , also,obviously, i caot access the inteet. .afThere is one more issue. Hi All. I've recently upgraded to 16.04 and have since been having the above problem. Although, I had similar, intermittent problems with the older version of Ubuntu (14.x). When coecting to my WiFi network, I enter a correct password, the system tries to coect and then asks me for the password again. Obviously, each time I am inputting the correct password. No problem coecting to the router with other devices such as Android phones. I am unable to access the config of the router - locked down by the service provider, so I am unable to change any of the encryption settings that some previous threads have suggested. First up sorry for the length of this post, and my newbieness, although I've been a user of lubuntu for a while, I'm still pretty new to a lot of it's ier workings. I currently have lubuntu 16.04.1 installed on a HP Compaq nc6220 laptop.Anyway, I noticed a few months ago (quite possibly when I upgraded to 16.04, but I can't be sure to be honest) that my wifi coection has a habit of discoecting itself then recoecting.
