Ubuntu 14.04Hi.My system has recently begun ruing some sort of memory test after every so many boots.The process takes about 30 seconds, and is quite aoying. I would prefer to invoke such a test on demand, rather than have the system decide when to run it. Hi Everyone,I'm working on a project which is a web application development encompassing web-site (html), RESTful web server, database, etc.I want to establish testing using LXC, to let testers simply start several containers with pre-deployed parts of web app and verify test cases.For every new web-app version a bunch of LXC containers will be created each with particular pre-installed software (like DB server or application server).Then pieces of web-app will be copied to the rootfs'es of corresponding containers.What I want to know is whether above can be considered as a good approach and what shortcomings it might result into.I will appreciate any comments, suggestions or recommendations...

Hi guys,i am kind of stuck to not knowing what to do. I have a selfbuild server/NAS case with a RAID5 (5 disks) configuration-setting. I have installed on that Ubuntu Server edition and every 2 years i do a migration to another LTS version. Folks:Anyone still using PPC flavors of ubuntu should be aware that there are less and less options available to run on our machines. In Ubuntu there is the mini installer option, which provides a base system to which a DE can be added; there is Ubuntu-MATE; and there has been Lubuntu. Lubuntu provides the integrated base and DE generally the lightest option in the Ubuntu family, but, due to lack of testing there is now no LTS release for 16.04 under the Lubuntu baer. Likely this would be the ***last*** version of Lubuntu available to PPC users. I have been waiting to use Firefox 47.0.1 in an Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS VM, but the Software Updater keeps assuring me that the 47.0 I have is up to date.I know that 47.0.1 was released on 06/28/2016. Hi Friends,I was interested in checking my RAM and thus I used two tools called Memtest86 and Memtest86+, which came on Ultimate Boot CD 5.3.5, but despite ruing them for 5/6 passes (spaing 2+ hrs), the tests did not seem to end, although no error were shown thus far, so I am wondering as to what should one do in terms to settings in order to make sure these tools run properly and show errors correctly?What is the ideal no of passes?
