I have a 64BIT OpenSuSE server I'm looking to migrate over to Ubuntu.Dell 7500 Workstation with Intel E5 Xeon processor64GB of RAM and 20TB of dataMySQL database to migrate over with it.First off before going any further, I noticed the only architecture for 64bit is AMD 64, so does this mean having a Dell server based on Intel, I'm dead in the water as is? If so I can just go towards SME Server, but I would rather try Ubuntu as it's a bit unique on it's own/to try something different.Or is there something unique about the 32bit version that will allow it to use the full 64GB of RAM? I think I know where I went wrong, I just can't find anything on how to fix it. I installed Ubuntu alongside my Windows 7 install which have incompatible formats if I recall correctly. When I boot my computer it hangs on the BIOS for much longer than normal, with my caps lock and num lock keys constantly blinking. Once it does that for a minute or so, it goes to a black screen and flashes a message (it includes the words environment batch (or block)). I am trying to dual boot ubuntu 14 and windows 10 on my dell xps 9350. They have both been installed and the windows side boots fine. So I have an HP Mini netbook that was previously used as my main laptop. I have since upgraded to a better system, but my need for it retued as my old server, a Sony VAIO laptop, experienced a hard drive failure. It was old anyways so I decided to use the netbook instead.
