Hello guys, i'm trying to install an .exe file (or any .exe files) in LXDE, but it doesn't work for some reason...I have followed the guide from this site: https://wiki.winehq.org/UbuntuAnd still doesn't work.. Last week I downloaded openGl so that I could use SketchUp on my desktop (SketchUp doesn't recognise my Haswell on board graphics chip). /the next day I rebooted my machine and it came up with the message missing NGLDR file. Nothing I do stops the message above just "reboot and select proper boot device".I've downloaded and used Boot-Repair-Disk and these are the files it gave me:Before repair: http://paste.ubuntu.com/22800310/After repair : http://paste.ubuntu.com/22800605/the repair didn't work and I got ~/Boot-Info_2016-08-09_13h20.txtit also told me to set the bios to sda1/EFI/shimx64.efi file but that option doesn't appear in my bios or I don't know how to set it.I desperately need to get into my computer to print off drawings for my builders and order materials etc so any help would be appreciatedThanks,canvas,canada,candy crush,canon,cane corso,cancer,cancun,canker sore,candy,can't stop the feeling ...ادامه مطلب

So, ever since I did sudo apt-get upgrade, my laptop has been screwed up. The clock is just white rectangles, all the stuff on my desktop vanished, I can't open Nautilus (file manager), and terminal isn't working. It just won't open, it'll load, but won't open. If I do something like lets say, upload an image on imgur, I can still view all my files, I just can't change them. Please help me! Hi Everybody! Next month on 21 April 2016 the next version of Ubuntu will be released: Xenial Xerus, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.Traditionally, some local Ubuntu Canada chapters hold release parties. So far, I know of two: One in Toronto, and one being planned in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.If you're somewhere else and want to have a local Ubuntu Release Party then you should take charge and hold one! It's easy: Just pick a time, a date, and a location, announce it to everyone, and show up. The Release Parties I plan usually involve going to my favourite local restaurant and eating Egg Rolls, but you can have a Release Party at a coffee shop, community hall, or even your living room.
