Is there a safe subscription podcast receiver software for Lubuntu?I am using Lubuntu 14.04 LTS. I have downloaded and manipulated various MP3 files for a while. For example, I have copied MP3 files from audio CDs and split them, etc. Then played them on my PC or bued a new audio CD.But particular websites seem to require a subscription to a "podcast receiver" software. Do I need to subscribe to such a podcast receiving software? See, for example,http://books.mcgraw-hill.com/podcast/acm/ or http://www.cmecoer.com/podcasthelp.aspOne such advertised podcast software is "Juice," see http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net/index.phpAnother one is itunes, see http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/Doe...

Title pretty much says it all. I have gotten League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive both ruing on my laptop (Ubuntu 16.04), through PlayOnLinux, but I caot alt-tab out of either game without putting the game in a state where it will not any longer display the game visually. Like I'll resume my game, and it will open up a window that's on freezeframe, but the game will still be ruing because I can hear all the action happening, and my friends talking, etc. This is very frustrating. When I start counter strike go, a little window always pops up saying that some steam service crashed (never seems to be anything important, games still work fine) and this takes the focus away from...

Did a search here and have found nothing that directly applies.....sooooooooHow does one read a non system generated binary file or .dat file from /var/log.....specifically the files I would like to read are generated by Eset AV. It gets even more interesting in this way...... I attempted to view the files with System Log viewer (gnome-system-log-pkexec) run as root. When I opened the window to open other files, these same files had the suffix .dat....... where looking at the different files under Nautilus, they had under file type, binary. System log would not open them.I ve been having some interesting problems with Eset recently, among them the fact that it took down the entire system ear...
